What is Alcoholics Anonymous?
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
”The 70th Los Angeles Anniversary event in January blew me away. The speakers, the fellowship, the food and coffee. It was amazing.“

“I don’t know what it was that pushed me to make the phone call to AA. Thank God for those AA members in service, people at the end of the phone 24/7 to handle calls from people like me, with nowhere left to go, no more excuses.”
Annie H.Office Manager
“This program has given me a life I never could have imagined. I've leared patience, trust, confidence and so much more Thank you AA.”
Jeff S.Tech Executive
“Life in AA is so much better than before. I can't say it was easy getting here, but it's been so worth it. I never want to go back to how it was.”
